Guidelines for Official Documents

Transcripts

 A transcript is considered official if it is mailed or faxed directly from the high school or college to Belmont University.  A seal, stamp and/or appropriate signature must be affixed to the transcript. Even with a seal, any transcript brought in or mailed in by the student (often a student copy) is considered unofficial. A Transient Student Permission Form or Letter of Good Standing is considered official if it is mailed or faxed directly from the college to Belmont University.

Test Scores 

Test scores are considered official if they are sent directly from the respective testing agency or if the scores are included on an official high school transcript.
