Major in Church Leadership and Administration (B.A.)

Ministers increasingly need broader preparation beyond the traditional fields of religion and ministry. This major creates opportunities for students interested in ministry to gain significant experience in business that will assist their ministerial leadership.

1 Students who choose a religion minor as a second minor must substitute required courses in their minor with a course from the same subject area. In other words, a single course may not count for both major and minor requirements.

2 REL 2350, Christian Doctrine is a prerequisite for the following: REL 2410 Spiritual Formation; REL 2510 Christian Ethics; all courses in Religion and Society division, in the Theological and Historical Division, and Biblical Studies Division.

3 Students take REL 4015 in the fall semester before the anticipated date of graduation.

4 Students who pursue a major in Church Leadership and Administration must select a minor in Business Administration as provided in the the matrix above.

5 MTH 1150, Elementary Statistics (3) is a pre-requisite for this course.

6 BAD 2050 is a pre-requisite for this course.
